London

 London, the UK’s capital, is known for its chic and diverse shopping experience. London has something for everyone, whether it’s the popular fashion retailers, luxury brands, vintage clothing, or even souvenirs, London has it. Not the mention the iconic department stores such as Harrods, Selfridges & Liberty.

Where to go: Oxford Street is the largest and most well-known shopping street in London. However, if you’re looking for luxurious brands, Bond Street is the place to be. Visit London’s famous markets such as Covent Garden, Old Spitalfields or Portobello Road.

What to do in London: the famous theatre productions are a must see in London. Head over to Lyceum Theatre to watch The Lion King or Her Majesty's Theatre to watch The Phantom of the Opera.

 

Paris

Renowned for being the fashion capital of the world. Fashion boutiques are all over this city, including high-end designer brands such as Chanel and Christian Dior. You won’t be disappointed with the shops here.

Where to go: one of the most famous shopping streets in Paris is Champs Élysées. This beautiful street has everything from budget to luxury, hence why more than 300,000 people walk it on the daily. Alternatively, try some of the shopping galleries (shopping centres), such as Galerie Vivienne or Galeries Lafayette Haussmann.

What to do in Paris: If you’re looking for some French afternoon tea, there are many luxury hotels with incredible food and service. For example, try out the Four Seasons Hotel George V, Le Meurice, or The Ritz Paris for an unforgettable experience (most spots require booking in advance).

 

Milan

Milan is the fashion capital of Italy. Known for being the home of world-famous fashion designers such as Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Versace. It accommodates for any style and budget.

Where to go: there are many wonderful shopping streets in Milan. Monte Napoleone is one which is often considered as the main shopping street. You’ll also be spoilt for choice at Corso Buenos Aires. However, don’t forget about the grand shopping centres such as Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, this is one of the world’s oldest shopping centres and the beautiful  architecture is worth seeing.

What to do in Milan: Italy is known for its amazing food, so here are some restaurant recommendations that you need to try. Osteria Del Binari has a beautiful setting with its garden terrace and elegant dining room. La Gioia is great for fine dining and some magnificent local cuisine. Finally, Seta is a Michelin-starred restaurant with a stunning setting and exceptional food.

For a more down-to-earth and relaxed experience, Osteria da Fortunata is famous for its delicious handmade pasta.

 

New York

New York is a shopper’s paradise. This destination is a common bucket list, as the bustling streets are an experience in itself. Shopping is endless here, with the abundance of retailers, boutiques, department stores, and markets. 

Where to go: the landmark department store Bergdorf Goodman is excellent for high-end designer brands to treat yourself with some luxury. In relation to the key shopping streets, Fifth Avenue has nearly every high-end brand including Tiffany & Co., Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Armani, and many others.

What to do in NYC: take a stroll around the beautiful Central Park or try a rooftop bar to get immaculate views of this amazing city. When it comes to New York, the rooftop bars are countless, however our favourites are Panorama Room and Nubeluz.
